Building F, Rhodes Corporate Park. An Australand Development completed by Richard Crookes Construction.
A high quality foyer with direct access into glazed podium tenancies.
Completed in December 2012, Building F is a high-exposure A Grade commercial office building with an impressive 6m high sandstone feature foyer wall installed by Stoneworks and as specified by Nettletontribe Architects.
Rhodes Corporate Park integrates the advantages of its central location and surrounds with a secure corporate park environment, but still enjoys direct access to Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre and surrounding parkland. Stoneworks supplied a symbiotic partnership with all parties to produce a world class product.
A TerraFirma design formed the basis for this harbour front construction to create a spa with an adjoining timber wave deck area, outdoor kitchen, wc, exterior shower, extended stone bench seating, an outdoor entertaining and dining area, sea wall, steps and landscaping.
Effective project management was paramount to the success of this difficult sloping site which was completed in 2005.
Attention-grabbing Sandstone cladding, a useable space for waterfront entertainment and access to the water created a perfect entertaining environment. Integration of a ‘Vertical Green Wall’ into the naturally formed sandstone shelf made available after excavation under the swimming pool. Later a boat cave was created by tunnelling under the lower entertainment area to park the kayaks and paddle boards.
Stone entry pillars, Single slab entry steps, organic stone retaining wall and a carp pond creates an exciting entry to a residence perched on top of vast harbour views.
This Rock Stars manager’s bungalow was transformed into a luxurious summer home by builder's Gardner Rose. We supplied and installed ‘Piles Creek’ sandstone facing to the lengthy boundary walls and courtyard area plus the pool copping and grand entry steps. Much attention to detail was necessary to successfully integrate the existing sandstone features of the residence with the new sandstone additions.
A client with vision and conviction gave us the freedom to create an oasis of woven stone and secret gardens to this once overgrown cliff face, beach front gem.
Interior renovation of this existing federation semi detached home formed part of the brief along with soft and hard landscaping. Excavation underneath the rear of the house created space for a new bathroom, walk through robe and master bedroom with a courtyard walk out. A parking hard stand was created as street parking is an issue which in turn allowed space under for storage.

The $41 million, purpose-built facility will herald a new era for the delivery of rehabilitation care to the communities of Ryde and the North Shore.
The Graythwaite Trust, dating from the 1830s, was entrusted to the State in 1915 by owner Sir Thomas Dibbs, who wanted his home to be used as a convalescent home for the wounded Anzacs. Graythwaite is a living link to Gallipoli and all that it means to our national identity.
In 2009, the home was sold by Graythwaite Trust, with all proceeds from the sale going to the Graythwaite Trust and would be reinvested in providing rehabilitation services at Ryde Hospital.
Stoneworks were privileged to be a small yet significant part of this vision. We worked alongside Richard Crookes in creating a significant stonewall entry to the building and also cladding the interior lift surrounds.
